Installation
=============

*optimModels* requires Python 3, which is available for all major operating systems. We recommend the `Anaconda python
distribution <https://www.continuum.io/downloads>`_.

*optimModels* can be easily installed using **pip**:

::

    pip install optimModels


Additional dependencies:

**framed**     python package for analysis and simulation of metabolic models.
**odespy**     offers a unified interface to a large collection of software for solving systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs).
**inspyred**   framework for creating biologically-inspired computational intelligence algorithms in Python, including evolutionary computation, swarm intelligence, and immunocomputing.
